Easy-Diy Shiplap Wall

Who doesn’t love shiplap?

I think we can thank Joanna and Chip for that….

This weekend Kyle showed his creative side and put up some shiplap on one of our smaller living room walls. Although, my job was just observing, I would say it was a pretty easy and fast way to add a little character to any home. I love accent walls, they can be found in most of our main floor rooms!

You can use wood glue or nails to apply the shiplap planks. The planks come in 5/16 in. x 3-5/8 in. x Random lengths, but can also be resized if needed. The color of the planks we used were Butternut Brown Vintage Planks from Home Depot.

We loved using these planks because they were easy, already stained, affordable, and each plank has it’s own uniqueness that can bring out a little character into any room!
